Scalstrm welcomes Adam Thompson as Pre-Sales Engineer & Project Manager. Based in the UK, he will support customers across the UK and Europe, combining technical solution design with project coordination as the company expands beyond its established Nordic and Benelux markets.
Adam has spent more than 20 years working with broadcasters and media platforms on pre-sales, technical account management, and hands-on delivery. At Ateme he shaped technical proposals and ran customer trials for large-scale compression and cloud delivery projects. Earlier, as Technical Account Manager at Amagi, he guided EMEA clients from initial deployment through to stable operations and was closely involved in the technical delivery of the ITVX launch. Prior roles at AWS Elemental included Senior Solutions Architect work with Tier-1 accounts such as Sky, BBC, and ITV, plus professional services deployments for operators including BT and others across Europe.
His experience covers cloud video architectures, OTT and FAST workflows, proof-of-concept management, and the practical transition of legacy systems into modern virtualised environments.
